The Pit River is a great choice any time, any day. Best fishing has been in Pit #3, but don't discount the waters in #4, #5. You will do best high sticking and short lining the fast slots, drops and pockets. Look for areas where water is squeezed and put your nymphs down fast and deep. That means 1 to 3 SSG split shot.
